Let's Play Vanished to Venus, and some Abandoned Demos!
Since I won't have much to talk about with this mod, let's play part of this.
BONUS:
LET'S PLAY VANISHED TO VENUS
From now on, I'll provide a title picture to go along with the LP.
There's no time to waste. Let's GO!!!
Got the key, now to...
Open the door...
...AND KABLOOEY!!! I BEAT THE LEVEL!!!
This level is very horizontal; like Super Mario!
WHY IS THIS ROCK HALF PINK?
This spinning CD does nothing apparently. I am disappoint.
This is where the levels begin to get huge.
This must be where all the citizens of Venus used to go to dance in the 60's.
ARRR. I HAVE TO GO ALL THE WAY DOWN TO GET THE KEY.
More of this later. For now, Let's Play Vorticon World!
LET'S PLAY VORTICON WORLD
NO!!! GO BACK TO VENUS!!! THAT WAS A BILLION TIMES BETTER!!!!
This is Vorticon VI on MSPaint and Ugly.
Where is this place? I don't remember seeing anything that looks like this on Vorticon VI. Is this a jail?
This level is so short, it may as well have been nonexistent.
Well, this is depressingly empty. Why am I about to enter a 90's doll house?
That tiny vorticon is wandering around in circles to get into the building. Very imprecise.
UGHH THE GRAPHICS
...Why is this a ladder?
Oh joy, this one is slightly confusing. You have to be moving in order to jump.
HI-YA! HOO-WAH!
MY EYES! THE GOGGLES DO NOTHING!
It's like this guy just discovered the gradient and transparency tools in the Clik-n'-Create sprite editor.
Why is THIS a ladder? I thought it was a platform at first, thus killing me. Bad graphical choice for a ladder.
I have to jump on the gargoyle's tongue. I have to give credit; these guys aren't quite as ugly as the rest of the custom graphics. That's saying a lot, because they're still below the quality of the CD-i Zelda games.
This ladder leads to the exit.
"You win! For now!"
Wow. This is so unrewarding, it may as well been a TXT file that said "win."
"Stay tuned for the next demo of Vorticon World!"
I don't think any new demos are likely to come out.
...Speaking of unlikely things, it's unlikely I'm going to finish any of the mods I've started making. I might, though, especially with Keen Mine, which only needs the level with the fourth item; any other levels made are extra.

Wow. I remember banished to venus! I never beat it though.
With the hundreds of fangames on bipship and the likes I never played I thought I was missing out on a ton of important entries in keen fanon. It turns out Moore's law even applies to keen games
ninja non-edit edit: Oh, it turns out Moore's law is about the number of transistors in machines doubling every 5 years. Then who the fucl was it that said "90% of everything is crap"?

There are actually a lot of good Keen fangames out there. I think Sturgeon would have been more accurate if he said "30-60 percent of everything is terrible."

Good work on this one, though!

I played through Vanished to Venus just last week. It's one of my favourite Benvolio mods, it's got a unique atmosphere, and makes great use of the palette patch.
Like gerstrong indicated: Go download CommanderGenius, Bonev, and run Vanished to Venus with it, maybe we'll learn about a few undiscovered bugs that way.

You crack me up little buddy!
I'm a bit wary of fan-games, but I might try Vanished to Venus - it looks quite good.
