Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls! Senators, bankers and publishers! I am delighted and forthright pleased to announced the first TroublesomeKeen spriting contest! What a blast! Here are the rules:
How to win: Draw a FRONT view of the Mad Mushroom. If yours in better than all the other entries, you win!
1st Prize: Your sprite will be used in my upcoming mod! (The Mad Mushroom is the replacement for the Bounder) You will be massively credited! Your name will be enshrined in many levels, and will appear on the high score list, and mentioned in the ReadMe! Perhaps even the opening credits!
2nd Prize: You will receive...uhh... a PM from me!
3rd Prize: You'll... (omg, i'm running out of ideas) get a cookie!!! (but seriously, don't try for third place, even if you really like cookies. You might end up with crumbs.)
Tip: If your Mad Mushroom looks anything like this, you might not win:
   
But if your sprite look better than the above pics, you have a chance.
Good luck everyone! The deadline is April 30th. Don't be late!
 Okay, all bribery aside...
I don't know what to do. Every time I try to draw a mushroom, I mess up the cap or the stock. And the eyes are really big. Oh I'm ashamed! Maybe if I get from of the eyes and mouth, try to rotate it, and then apply eyes and mouth later. Hmm..

I hope you get the time then. The contest is still wide open! I've got a renovation project this week that will keep me from keening, but not to fear! I'm working as hard and as fast as I can. I'll be inserting VBB's entry and Bubbatom's entry into my mod to see how they animate with the other sprites. I already inserted DoomJedi's entry and I like how it shapes up. Perfect size too! Still so much to do,
and time is running out.

Much obliged! I was thinking of eliminating the deadline for this contest altogether. No hurry, no pressure. I was in a hurry a few weeks ago because my life situation was on the verge of drastically changing, but it blew over. This is partially a mock-contest anyway. I just need that sprite before I finish my mod--and I'm not even to the level-making stages of modding yet. (I'm so terrible at drawing mushrooms!) So, yeah, no strict deadline. Take your time, all ye artists.
