Seeking Retrosis Music

Post by Commander Spleen »

Ohmanohman, Retrosis is inching, and indeed footing, towards completion, but it needs more music. Any takers?

Although I would prefer music that's a bit fast and trancey, anything akin to the first levels of Keen 4, Keen 6 and Cosmo 1, or To The Future from Keen 6 would be great. But I'll pretty much consider anything at this stage as long as it's relatively fast and upbeat.

A few have been made for it so far.Though I think some have disappeared, having been submitted via PCKF PM. ZidaneA's were sent via email, so they're still there. But two others also sent some in; pretty sure they was DaVince and even Genius314. Whoever you are, can you send them across again via email?

I'd tell you where I get my music, but then we may end up having the same tracks! eh what the hell. I've been using Newgrounds Audio Portal for my source. Not necessarily Keenish but I've found some nice space/martian like tracks I think go good with my game. Check it out!

I am sorry to tell you I just can't make proper music for mods... Every MIDI I made and saved somehow turned out completely wrong when saving to IMF, and I just don't have it in me to mess with the Adlib music trackers. :<

Whelp, I have music, but I'm not that good at MAKING music. The stuff I make tends to be on a whim and to take effort (Or just be a complete rip-off.) so all I can do is offer a bunch of songs I have for people to cherry pick.

And good to hear that the TSR is progressing, modding will never be the same once it is done!

It's done, ready to go. Thanks to lemm.

Just need some composers. I'd rather not use pre-fab music.

Bump. Still looking for some tunes.

Modified the style requirements in the first post. Hopefully this will afford some greater freedom to anyone who's interested.

Man. If you can somehow get the MIDIs (or modules) I made to play right as IMfs, at least you'll be able to use those. Lemme know if you manage, somehow, so I could make more music after all.
