Mod bug

So I've given up on this particular project due to level starvation (Tiles, tiles for the poor? Pity the pooor! Pity the pooooor!) , but I'm still wondering something; I have a blob enemy that keeps making the game freeze, randomly, and I don't know why.

Yes it's on the big side, but I'm using Lemm's big sprite code, which should let it work. So I'm not quite sure what's going on here.

The enemy replaces the Garg. I figure someone here will know what's up. (I'd post on K:M, but that place is so sluggish.)

This game looks so good! I don't know how it works but if you ever get the motivation to get started on working on it again... :begging

Those are some gorgeous graphics, makes great use of the limited color palette.

Did you take this screenshot in DOSBox? :) (Is that why Keen looks like he's beginning his 'jump' animation?)

Although I can't help with the blob bug, I'd be willing to put my WIE project on hold and do as much tilework and gruntwork as you need in order to help you finish this project. It looks too good to cancel.

By the way, is that a Monster Bash candy I see? ;)

I am also sufficient in level design, although I've never had anyone actually confirm this.

You could also always move all your work over to another engine. I love DOS, but the stupid memory restrictions are such an unnecessary pain in the ass. :bloody

That's another thing, I haven't got to patching the sprites much, just some basic changes in speed, if I was going to do anything I'd have asked for your assistance to make sure.

This game looks so good! I don't know how it works but if you ever get the motivation to get started on working on it again...
What I needed was levels, but they all kinda fell through. So I don't know.

A fan game being a fan game and not a mod. See? It has to be a Keen mod, that's the point. :)

Man, this looks so awesome. :drool :eek :foot The sprite looks so cool.

I'm sorry about those levels, I promised to make one but I didn't get it done, I got too frustrated with the limits of KeenEdit (it lacks some things I'd need to build large-scale, multi-tile levels) and I can't get any other editor working on this computer.

Are you sure you'd actually be able to get around to doing anything? I have become very skeptical of late.

Word got out some time ago that it's hard to get people over the internet to provide consistent enthusiastic help for free. Hence for example the CKCM's several year long development without an episode released so far.
