Our team already knows it.
The most recent repo now is at github.
I will push the updates there in future and plan to close the one on SF.

Well basically it has better support for git.
For us the advantages are that it makes easier cloning, checking source code and even linking your issues with the commits.
It's a bit difficult to explain for me. Try it out with your project you will see. It's awesome!
