Ah, well CK-5 will be better. :p
The topic title is "Best Mods". Just because Keen-6 is not listed does not mean no one likes it.

And I shouldn't worry about it, being popular isn't everything. Heck, I'll *never* make a popular mod, it's still fun to try!

I don't think many Keen mods will really get "popular" much outside the Keen community, anyway. 7-9 being a possible exception.

'What are you playing?'

'It's Keen 9! It's totally awesome! Look at those 16 color, 2.5D graphics! What are you up to?'

'Just looking over these models for the latest Duke 3D High Resolution pack. You can really see the blood spatter when you kill hookers.'

When DitD was released and I started playing it, my bro asked me "Would you really rather be playing that than World of Warcraft?"
I gave a resounding "Yes."
He thinks I'm crazy. :dopekeen He doesn't have any idea how clueless he is :dead2

Story Land by Ceilick was always fun.
Also, I like his TUIT series.

Norp The Yorp had a good concept but was rather bland.

Wow, the norp series is surprisingly forgettable for me, but episode 3 Brain Damage is one of my favorite keen 3 mods, just because of the insane color use.

Aaah, but it was very early on, when the art and techniques of the Keen community were only just developing. When I played it I was totally amazed.

What? What? In 1990 this blew my socks off!

I was never a big fan of Norps but the series has its moments. Agree, the third episode had pretty cool colourful tile patterns. Overall, they had many good ideas.
